Eden Sanctuary
Eden Sanctuary, a retreat centre in Brazil, was founded by Paul Mallon and Henry Dummett, two friends on a mission to transform the lives of corporate professionals with plant medicine.

Eden’s existing website wasn’t doing justice to the high-end, transformative experiences they offered
Before:

The old website’s visually unappealing design and poor user experience made it difficult for visitors to understand the full scope of their offerings. This not only caused frustration but also failed to drive bookings, a critical issue as Paul and Henry looked to expand their business and reach a broader audience.
“We felt embarrassed about the website”
They needed to revamp their web presence—not just to modernise their website, but to also reposition Eden Sanctuary as a trustworthy wellness centre.
I began by focusing on the fundamentals: designing a clean and intuitive navigation system that would allow visitors to effortlessly explore the site. This was complemented by elegant typography and high-quality imagery that conveyed a sense of serenity and luxury, aligning with the premium nature of their offerings.

Key elements of the new website included:
- Strategically-placed call-to-actions that gently guided users toward getting in touch and booking a retreat
- SEO best practices to ensure the site achieved high rankings on search engines, making it easier for potential clients to find them
- Fast-loading times enabled by Jamstack, ensuring a seamless user experience while also boosting search rankings, as site speed is a key SEO factor
The results have been impressive. Since launching, Paul and Henry have already seen a noticeable increase in bookings directly through the site. It now ranks among the top searches for keywords like "retreat centre Brazil", "ayahuasca retreat Brazil" and "Eden Sanctuary," reaching a global audience.
“We’re already receiving bookings through the new website!”
